In2Food has grown rapidly through the acquisition of premium food businesses delivering exceptional products and innovation to top end retailers. As a result, our Directors and Leadership Team come from a broad range of businesses and backgrounds. The real magicians day-to-day are our outstanding leadership team, each captaining their hand-picked teams and aiming for excellence in their fields. Handri runs the At Source business which creates all our dried fruit and nut products from a factory on the farm Koelfontein in the Ceres valley. Tim Groucott has spent 30 years managing food businesses ranging from poultry processing to ready meals and fresh produce in the UK, and in 2010 brought his vast experience and MBA to Johannesburg to join the In2Food business. Andre Haasbroek came to the group with the acquisition of Nibbly Bits, a highly successful family bakery business, in Andre’s experience built from an accounting base through export and financial management into the general management of food businesses. Johan Human has worked in the food industry for 24 years starting as a restaurant manager and working through general and operations management in various large food businesses before joining In2Food in Martin Lombardi started in Marketing and then ran the highly successful Lombardi Foods business for 20 years before amalgamating it with InterFruit to create the In2Food group in 2010 for which he now manages the Strand operations and juice business unit. Jane Nock has spent 25 years on the foods science & technology side of a wide variety of categories in food businesses dealing with all the major UK retailers before moving to Somerset West in late 2013 to become Group Technical Manager for the In2Food Group. Tanya Rabie has worked her way up to Head of Product Development & Process Technology at In2Food through product development for various large foods companies including New Product development for Lombardi Foods, one of the founding members of the group. Garry Rae has worked in the seafood industry for 34 years having started as a quality controller for I&J. Emma Schoeman is currently Group Produce NPD and Commercial Manager of In2Food having spent 20 years in the food industry in both the UK and South Africa. Despite her surname, Emma is English and moved to Cape Town in 2011 to join In2food. Tim qualified as an accountant originally but after a stint in finance he fell in love with agriculture and has been involved in the strawberry growing business for 14 years now, having started with Echo Berry in Our brains trust of respected advisors who keep us always ahead of the curve. Richard Cooper is a British qualified accountant with a long career in the food industry. He came to South Africa to manage the then Interfruit in 2007, and as CEO has been the driving force of the growth of In2Food and to deliver the vision of a very special food business. John Dutton holds a PhD in Biochemistry and has worked in the fresh foods industry for over 25 years. He has acquired, established and managed businesses in the UK, USA and across Europe, and is currently based in the United Kingdom. Thoko Mogkosi-Mwantembe began her career as a product manager, and moved up through executive roles in marketing and general management at a range of consumer product and service businesses in South Africa. Mohsin Cajee is a Private Equity Investment Principal with Old Mutual who, after a stint at a boutique investment firm, returned to Old Mutual where he began his career as a Business Analyst. Farhad Khan began his career in Johannesburg with the global consulting group Stern Stewart & Co, and then moved to Old Mutual where he is now an Investment Principal in Private Equity. Anthony Barnard is CIO of Kutana Investment Group and has been in Investment Banking both locally and overseas.
