Focus 21 is a modern and professional facility in Boksburg on the East Rand of Johannesburg. We are situated just 12 minutes from OR Tambo International airport and central to Sandton and Pretoria.

Focus 21 has been designed with flexibility in mind, providing a comfortable and modern space to address the needs of clients, moderators and participants alike.

Although purpose built specifically for the market research industry, the rooms and facilities provide an excellent venue for mediation, arbitration, negotiation and conciliation, as well as disciplinary hearings or small training sessions and workshops.   DISCUSSION ROOMS Our two discussion rooms can accommodate between 8 and 12 participants. Whether organised in formal boardroom-style seating, a classroom set-up, or a more relaxed ‘living room’ approach, the venue is flexible to suit your needs. Each room is equipped with:

• A wireless projector and retractable screen
• Wi-Fi access
• Air conditioning
• Adjustable lighting
• Audio and visual recording ability
• Flipchart and whiteboard
• Sound insulated walls

The rooms can be arranged to create a setting ideal for any need; including discussions, focus groups, mini focus groups, in-depth interviews and training.   VIEWING ROOMS Our viewing rooms are connected to the discussion rooms with one-way viewing glass and can accommodate up to 6 attendees. Each viewing room is equipped with:

• Speakers and a screen – relaying what is happening in the discussion room
• Two-way communication between rooms
• Wi-Fi access
• Air conditioning
• Adjustable lighting
• Bar fridge stocked with soft drinks, mineral water and any other requests

The technology and comfortable environment allow the attendees to observe and record the discussion with ease.   Our venue is accessible to wheelchair users and has ample secure, off-street parking.  A waiting area with a sign-in station, seating and refreshments is adjacent to the rooms, creating a space for participants to relax before and between sessions. The ‘break away’ courtyard offers another area for participants to gather and enjoy some fresh air.   CATERING To ensure a comfortable and welcome environment, tea, coffee and water are provided as standard. Customised catering will be provided if required.
